Before anyone tells me seach I already have. I have a fully built B16 with darton sleeves, greddy 18g turbo kit, koyo radiator (not full size), buddy club rad cap, spoon termo and fan switch, new oem water pump, new oem head gasget. I have this overheating problem only in stop and go traffic, there is no oil and coolant mixxing. There is also low coolant in the overflow tank (the first time) Gets up to about 3/4 before hot, losses power untill it cools down then picks up. When I'm not in stop and go traffic its fine... :?: :?: I would welcome any help.

man I know fuel doen't have anything to do with the cooling sys but I had the same problem but only when I drove it for like 10 miles it start to overheat, so I start by changing the thermosthat, then radiator, then cooling, finally water pump, I was all frustrated, so one day I start to loose performance so I decide to change the fuel filter.....and guess what no more overheating problems... I know everyone here is gonna tell me wtf is this guy talking about, but I'm just sharing my history so you can have an option to fix your car..or at least it fix mine.

FMIC sprayer FTW!
intercooler sparyer wont help temp over heating, just cools intake charge temp. nothign to do with water.

maybe the spoon thermo is higher temp? put a OEM one on, OR wire the fan to a switch but also keeping the stock wiring, so when it starts to get hot you can turn the fan on when you want.

also make sure your fan is on the right side of the radiator. puller is on the inside and pusher is on the outside.

first question is does your fan come on when it starts to overheat??? double check to make sure that the fan is blowing in the corect direction.
