Can oversized 6 1/2 be done and still be able to fit the grille back on. I got Polk mm and I don't want to sell them they sound great but if they can't fit....

yeah, i put in some a while back. all you have to do is a few cuts on the inside but they will still fit. Though its a pain to take them on and off, it fits and still has clean lines and what not. here is what mine is.
i also had to drill new holes for the speaker screws, instead of 3 i did 4, but the plastic is very strong and can take it, there is no way that my speakers would fall off.
Nice work that looks very clean and exactly what I was looking fir I shall make the effort to start, may I see what it looks like with the speaker off?
I went to start and my door looks different than yours a little more work to get it right on a sedan
