I just purchased a 98 Civic EX, it has 238k on it, it has been sitting in the owners driveway for 1 year. I drove it 10 miles home & as expected, when I pulled in the driveway, the check engine light came on. had a friend connect the checker to it & it displays P0505. I have no idea what that means other then what I hav read on multiple forums. I am NOT a car guy. I am looking fwd to driving this car, is tere a quick answer for this code or what am I loking at. Shop or can I do it myself.... ant help would be awesome... Thanks.
