ok well i bought a p06 ecu not too long ago and just tried to install it today and my car has a really shitty idol and wont come out of park. what i am wondering is can it be that the ecu came out of a manual.

yeah it was throwin a code i dont remeber what the code was but i had a friend check the ecu for and sure nuff it for a 5seed.
