This may sound like a stupid question, but is the p06 ecu any good? Can it be modified to work as well as a p28?

the p06 is the non-vtec version of the p28, the p06 can be converted into a p28 and used on vtec applications.

the p28 what a lot of people have chipped and use for tuning purposes,

P06 has EXACTLY the same circuit board as the P28, so you can essentially make a P28 out of any P06.. so they aren't worthless.

I can just un-check the VTEC box on a p28 to use it on non-vtec right? (sorry to thread-jack)
