Someone said a P07 is like a P06 with VTEC...is that true? Can it be chipped?

Um, better watch what you say about the P07. Only the california models can be chipped, that is it. All other P07s have two processors and can't be chipped. Rendering them pretty much useless. But they do have vtec components.

So with that said.. not many of them are indeed chipable.

How can you tell if it is a california model without openning it up?

It will look just like a regular P06/P28.

quote from honda-tech, " L = California emissions or typically high altitude states as well."

So maybe the L01 model is what you need....... but once again not sure if any p07 can be chipped...
