Hi, i have a 98' civic SI (Canadian) with a d16y8 which is running on a P2P (OBD2a) ECU. I was wondering if it would still be able to run normally with a virgin (non chipped) P28 (OBD1) ECU from a d16z6. I know the cam has a slightly longer duration (1 or 2 degrees) and therefore the timing on the z6 is different as well.
Main question: Would a virgin P28 work as a plug and play (with conversion harness) with the d16y8 without idle/power problems?
