These chips goes into the actual ECU and is NOT to be confused with those junky "HP Chips" out on eBay. Most chips will disable ECU controls such as 2nd o2 Sensor, Speed Sensor, and Knock Sensor.

Will this ecu work on a D16Z6 SOHC VTEC engine for a 1992 Honda Civic ESI (Manual)?
The ecu code on your ECU shows P28-A02 ... but a check online shows only the A01 for the Civic EX D16Z SOHC Vtec manual.

From which car exactly is your P28 ecu taken from?

My car had a burnt ecu not long ago and my replacement is one w/o VTEC. so i'm looking for another one.

it was removed from a 1994 civic ex 4dr vtec manual. this will work in your vehicle.
