no....it wont run right because the iacv pin locations are different and the vtec ecu will be looking for a 2 wire iacv where the non-vtec motor is running a 3-wire iacv. have you tried driving it yet? im kindof in the same boat as you. w/ the vtec ecu in there it is stuck in safe mode and wont go above 4000rpms, and mine is an auto trans and the ecu cant figure out what to do w/ the trans. w/ my non-vtec ecu in there i can retain my transmission driveability, but since i already wired everything up for vtec and changed my iacv wiring to accept a 2 wire iacv i have the lovely bouncing idle thing going on and throttle response is pretty much null. i know i shouldnt be driving it like this, but i dont have a choice. any other questions, or anybody want to correct me....please do cuz im in a bit of a pickle myself
