Well the driver-side is all ready for paint just needs a quick wetsanding to smooth everything out but that happens minutes before the car rolls into the booth. Also, are pictures of my newly dyed front and back seats and my cool valve cover that i have to re-do because from changing my belts it got scratched up a little so it'll be getting sprayed the color of my car as it gets sprayed. also, are my folding CTR mirrors. Enjoy the pix and remember WORK IN PROGRESS people...Also, Ignore the front stockies i had to fix a scratch on my front wheel and i figured why throw on the customs again so they can get dirty while im sanding, the back will get changed sooner or later as well.

Here are the dyed seats, they are a little fuzzy because they seem to attract everything now that they're black...

Here are the CTR mirrors...

I sanded the paint down in the dented areas so the filler would stick, fixed the few parking lot dings with filler, sprayed primer on (real spraygun primer not rattlecan) and then thats where its at now. When it gets to my dad's shop it'll be slightly sanded just to get rid of any dust particles or uneven surface then the basecoat color will be sprayed

hope that makes sense to ya

Andy, your car is gonna look great once it's done:thumbs up:. Are your mirrors power or manual fold? Oh and I really like the dye job. How's that done?

The mirrors are manual unfortunately but there still cool

and with the dye you basically jus tape up the seats and spray it on. its got dye and then some surface paint that comes off when its dry.

Andy, I don't think I've ever asked you how you mounted your rear lip. I still have to do mine, but I am getting all different sorts of solutions. Can you post up pics of your method?

If you do the front bumper I would recommend taking it off to paint it even if you mask it. When i got my car and made my DIY grille on it (2000 ex) I noticed on the inside of the headlights a little black faded line from when they painted it, they never took bumper off I betcha.. cuz I know factory doesnt they paint panels etc induvidually...
