park lights constantly on

and yes the park lights stay on when the car is off (turn signals and license plate lights stay on)
that's what i was thinking... assuming your parking lights aren't on when your keys are out of the ignition, try doing this...itsmycookie said:

2. turn our key to acc and see if your parking lights stay off
3. let down the e-brake and see if the parking lights turn on

if your car is indeed canadian, there's nothing you can do about it besides find the fuse and pull it (assuming other accessories don't use that fuse) or hardwire the lights to a switch... nothing too difficult.
my hatchback is canadian, and my parking lights and daytime lights are on all the time unless the e-brake hasn't been released since i put the keys in the ignition. if you really hate them that much, leave them out... unless it's the same bulb that operates for your blinker, in which case, don't say i didn't warn ya' when you get a ticket
what's so bad about caps lock? WELL WHEN YOU TYPE MORE THAN ONE SENTENCE, OR EVEN A PHRASE WITH IT, IT BEGINS TO GET DIFFICULT TO READ AND GIVES PEOPLE A HEADACHE. IN FACT, I'D CALL IT A CHORE. THERE'S A REASON THAT PUBLISHERS DON'T PRINT BOOKS IN CAPITAL , IT'S BECAUSE MOST READERS COULDN'T FINISH A BOOK WITHOUT TRYING TO KILL THEMSELVES FIRST.
