Ok so the other day i was washing my car, rolled my winjdows down, pulled it into the garage to wax/polish, and then i got in after to clean the windows, and the passenger side wouldnt roll up from the driver side, however it would roll up from the passenger side, but not down.

ok.. so

NOTHING for the passenger window on the drivers switch works

the passenger switch will roll the window up with the door closed, but not down. However, if i open the door it will roll up and down, but only from the passenger side.

so... wtf?

I pulled the fender, and traced all the wires through the boot that runs from the door to the chassis and none of them are broken or have the wire exposed...

I dont know where else to look?

Theoretically if the passenger side switch has full continuity, then the drivers switch should work, thus meaning the drives switch should work when the passenger door is open, correct? (since the passenger switch works with the door open, and the window rolls up/down fine)

bump...

i still havent found a resolution to this problem.

The passenger side wont roll up or down, unless i put power DIRECTLY to the motor from an outside source.
