Does anybody know were the pcv valve is located on a 97 civic ex. If u got pictures that would be great thx.

should be close to the oil filter just trace the hose that leads to the pcv valve and just go under and find it and pull it off and replace. it should be a hose that sit close to the intake mani and the head and the fuel rail heading down.
let me guess its that hose that runs throw the middle of the intake manifold that goes underneath it. If so it may be a pain to get into because of the small amount of space 
Yes. You will need to access the valve from under the car. Its directly above the oil filter. Word of advice, have yourself another one if you try and remove it. I broke mine trying to get it out to check it. There isn't much room.
