resonators also help disrupt sound waves so that its not as loud

These resonance boxes are also there to help 'tune' the standard intake system. They set up standing waves (resonance) in the intake which gives a ram effect at certain rpms giving a slight power increases at those rpms. Similar to what the AEM V2 does but for a standard system.

wouldn't u lose some of the resonance within the intake??

maybe seal off the standard intake mouth, then cut a hole somewhere along the U shaped part??

hows this sound??
