picture anit gona do you s**t. why don't your look at the block and tell us what it says. pretty god damn simple way to figure out what motor is in your car. don't you think?
hey slammed you read but dont pay attention huh, if you noticed i put the engine number up there, hey je do you have to buy 1.6 parts for your engine? your engine is the same as mine but my engine will not take 1.5 parts as the vx engine is supposed to be a 1.5 according to engine specs listed above.
^^ Im not really sure about that, i havent moded my motor xcept for the intake, i plan on a swap so i dont wanna be buying parts for my d-series.
But my intake is too big for my tiny manifold. Thats the only performance part i bought and it doesnt fit perfectly

yeah my intake is to big for the manifold too, but i mean like when you buy your spark plug wires or spark plugs or distributor cap, the thing is i was given the engine by mistake i had paid for the cx model engine and i got this one but when i tried putting on the distributor i had to go and buy a 1.6 distributor and also the spark plug wires i had to go and buy 1.6 wires cause the 1.5 stuff dont fit. so everyone tells me that i have the 1.6 engine but the number on it says its a d15z1 which is the vx model, but im really confused.

first off you don't have a 1.6 its a 1.5, second off, the 1.6 plug wire don't fit correctly either, they are a b***h to find and expensive but you can find the correct ones for the VX motor. now i don't know about the disi, they might be the same part number might not im not sure, but you don't have a 1.6 motor its a 1.5.
it will take 1.5 parts you just have to find the correct parts for it.

Here's a thought. Instead of worrying about modding your useless VX engine, you should save for a swap.
