Pioneer Avic N3 unlock??

Hi

Just wanting to know if anyone has a pioneer Avic N3 and can be prgrammed to work while driving the car
In other words wanting to unlock the system so while driving i can watch the DVDs or something

peel back the silver sticker on the bottom of the unit itself, not the gyro. Now mind you peeling the sticker voids the warranty. Under the sticker there is a switch, throw the switch. Now ground the e brake wire

not to my knowlage, the way posted is the only way ive ever heard it done

either way its not really recommended, and anyway its done pretty much voids the warranty

when you peel the sticker it will leave a reidue on the bottom of the unit with "void" left imprinted in the deck. There is no way to remove the residue.

There is no other way to bypass the lock out on the n-3

What steps did you do to do the unlock? Is the e brake wire grounded to the stereos ground? Did you flip the switch on the bottom of the unit

Well i figured it how to work finally but th FM frequency is going in 89.1-89.3 i cant go in betwwen these,is there a way ?

Another thing is where does the speed senor go? i need the VDC to work

only way is to ground it out to make it think the e brake is up so it functions while drive or go to circiut city or bestbuy and talk to one ofd the tech mechanics and ask them how to but as it as a what if i question cause they are not suposed to but most will if you ask nicely and put it as the intent not there
