What up all? I was going to make a list of my plans for my car and see what you all think. Feel free to make comments, either good or bad.

I have a Milano Red 97 ex coupe.

Plans:
Exterior

OEM Carbon Fiber Hood
Carbon Fiber Dual Halo Projectors
Carbon Fiber Type R Lip Kit (color matched)
Flixs ARTIC-A 17's (gunmetal or graphite)

I cant wait to see...nuthin like milano red and carbon fiber. Im sorta goin the same direction with my car, except my lip kit will be color matched to the car.

1. what brand hood and what style, oem style looks the best
2. projectors are ricey, you should get the jdm ctr, they are gunmetal
3. cf lip kit all the way around? i didnt know they made cf sideskirts and cf rear lips, never seen it before. im trying to imagine it, but i think it might look weird, but it will look different.
4. flis artic-a, never heard of them, got pics?

I like everything you plan do to except the projector lights...Just clear and paint your stock headlights gunmetal...thats looks much cleaner in my opinion

Just to keep it light... Really no other reason. I don't know that a cf lip would look all that great if the rest of the lip kit is color matched.

i can't wait to see. . .. but imho your money would be much better invested in suspension. . .

Suspension is definately going on. I'm just waiting to see my clearance with the kit and rims so that i can fit it best

After the body work is done and i have the suspension set the way I want it (btw.. I want to go with springs instead of coilovers, that's the reason I'm waiting), then I'm going to get going on the engine work. I'm just waiting out the winter for the engine to come into play.

DC Stainless Header
Greddy SP series
AEM V2 Intake
Poison Intake Manifold
Skunk II Cam Shafts
AEM Fuel Rail & Regulator
MSD Ignition (not sure which one yet.... Ideas?)
New Pistons....Taking ideas on those as well.

That's about it....

I don't know what I'm going to do with my interior. That is still a question. I don't want to go the same route that everyone does, so I'm trying to think of ideas....

Yeah... I really don't know what all I'm going to do with building up the internals. I need more info, but I have a whole winter to do more research. I want to buy that motor right now, but I think the money I've put back for it is just wanting to burn itself out of my pocket.... Patience is not my best virtue...

well, i would suggest d-series.org for pretty good engine building info... but you're swapping to a b-series

that doesnt make any sense. . . .

i understand gettin a CF hood for the purpose of weight reduction, painting, i guess, but with the paint, your adding onto the weight, unless you do vinyl (like anothe member on here did)

CF Lip is mostly show... weighs damn near the same exact thing as gettin an ABS plastic lip,...... thats why i asked why the hell you would paint it. . . .

the rims are alright but i like the FLIK-Lex

yeah. those look pretty tight too. I also like the Bullet A and the Wasp-A.

Cf Lip....
I really only wanted the cf lip in order to have a cf lip. I just don't know how it would look with the rest of the lip kit color matched. Think it would look awkward?
