Here's my story, I bought a 1995 Honda Civic dx from a neighbor of a friend. I payed waaayy too much, and after a month or two i noticed it was using some oil. And now, after not even having it for a year, my head gasket is basically blown. I dont race it, i dont romp on it, and i dont beat the hell out of it. I guess the guy before me didnt take the best care of it. I'm just not sure what to do! I love my car, i really do. But i have no idea how to do any of the work my self, and im not sure which route to go, sell my prized possession, or get it fixed. And if i get it fixed, just get a new head gasket? Or just get a different engine? If anyone has any advice/experience or wants to help a honda lover out, it would be greatly appreciated!

Are you 100% sure it's the head gasket?

I had it checked out, its smoking white, the coolant runs low, then it over heats
