Please, need help.

Hello. I have a quick question. What is the plastic covers located directly under the engine? You know the one that protects the engine components from rain, rocks, etc. I took mine off a long time ago and never out it back. Lost it & never seen it again.

Here's my problem, idk what to look for when I'm searching for an OEM one on sites like Majestic Honda, etc. Can someone please help me out? I'm not sure what it even looks like :(. The reason I need this is because I installed H.I.D.s on my car and the rain got to it and cut them off the first night I had them. I'm hoping if I get this, my car will be ok for HIDs again. Please, CC help me out.

What year model? I can't recall ever seeing under engine plastics on anything pre 6th gen. Maybe it was aftermarket? Tuck your HID ballasts behind the lights and you should be safe. You have wheel well plastic liners correct? You'll need those for sure.

Mine is a 1998 Honda Civic CX hatchback. I think there was tho. Like a plastic cover connected to both plastic covers located under fenders. Yes I do have those on the car. I wish I could post some pics right now to help me show what I mean. I can't. I'm in the Android app. My computer is down at the moment.

Is there any I can insulate an HID ballast? I really wish I could put them back on. When I do, I plan on buying OEM fog lights. That bright blue up top and yellow at the bottom is very nice in my eyes. Reminds me allot of my GS430.

Btw, does anybody know a link to a DIY on HID kits? Thanks x 1,000,000 in advance. My model is a 98 CX hatchback. SOHC.
