hi guys! belated happy 4th of July!
I haven't been here for a while. it's nice to see new people around.

I really really need your help guys, so yea, i was wondering if you guys can help me out by voting for my car.
i'm in this contest here in edmonton, ab. by the tire warehouse. the car with the most votes "like" wins. the prize is new suspension, rims, and tires then will include the car on the upcoming car show to represent The Tire Warehouse here in edmonton.

currently, i'm on 1st place but the guy next to me is quickly catching up on votes. so i figured if i could get some votes here from clubcivic.

there are some REALLY nice cars on that link! you could go on for DAYS but i thought i would take a moment to highlight some of the really nice ones!!!!!!!!!!!111

look at all that nice stylish chrome accents going on on this sweet puppy right here! it's funny at first i was thinking ferrari.. or maybe lotus.. but then i noticed the Nissan banner.. good thing he has it.. this way they KNOW to get out of the way when he comes flying up on the highway!!!

apparently this contest caters to people living in a third world country..

notice the sweet over spray all over the wheels.. i guess when you steal a car and have to paint it real fast you can't concern yourself with complicated techniques such as taping off things you don't want painted..

here we have a shining example of some type of pearl paint or some s**t according to the owner.. well a little fyi.. covering your white paint in dust and dirt.. and driving it to a JUNK YARD (where it looks like it belongs) does NOT make it look any better..

this guy should be more worried about where he lives than winning a contest.. dat ride sure do look sweet parked outside da crib baller...

i don't even know what the f**k this thing is.. but i believe it might be a time machine that has traveled into the future from the early 1990s..

this my friends.. is the money shot right here.. this guy can fit some f**king off road mud tires under that thing..

this guy refers to his stance as the 4x4 stance.. i can only IMAGINE the cars that drive around his city that make him think that.. f**k it.. want to get lower? you don't need springs just take them the f**k off and throw them out.. SlAM dAt ShiAt DawG!!!!!!!!!!11111

this person feels they would be a good pick because they just got a "brand new paint job".. so to show it off.. they break out the old cell phone camera.. take a night time pic.. in black and white mode.. photography.. not one of your strong points..

this guy is an automotive master tech.. he says.. "My rims have been resprayed twice now because the wheels are to low profile to take off and powder coat so they look like crap around the lug nuts." so basically.. if you have really low profile tires.. you just have to leave them on FOREVER.. because you can NOT TAKE THEM OFF.. it is just not possible.. so this forces him to spray paint them.. over and over again...

and here we have a nice mini van.. er.. never mind..

Ummm no it wont. That 4.0 V6 makes as much today as Chevy made with the Camaro's 3.8 back in 1998. It took Ford 8 years and .2 more liters to make the same power .

could've sworn the new v6 mustangs will run about a 15.0 and that year camaro is about a second slower high 15s low 16s?

I have searched for both cars, and searched for SEVERAL sources for each. The V6 Mustang ran anything from low 15's all the way up to mid 16's. I couldnt find as much for the V6 Camaro, I found two on the 3.8 which showed a 15.7, and some for the 3.4 that showed a 15.9 (which supported the 3.8 running about a 15.7). So it seems that the Mustang is capable of running faster times. However I think that the times are close enough that driver error can more than make up for the slight gap. My point was the power output and engine size and the year they were made. Im not trying to say that Ford wasnt capable of making a V6 with 200hp until 2005, just saying that they didnt do it until then.
