alright so i got a new alpine deck and 6.5 speakers. as i take off the old speaker and fixing to put in the new one i find that whenever i try to connect the stock wiring to the speakers the wires break. now my question is, how long does it usually take to re-wire the speakers on both sides? i know apart of my dash hasta come off and my door panel does too, but my brother says its a b***h and i should wait til the weekend to do it cuz itll take forever.

yup... door panels have to come off... you don't have to take anything off your dash... just get some zips and tuck nice. might as well run wires all the way back to the h/u with some new wires. shouldn't take but like an hour. actually if you have 6.5' in an egg, you gotta cut the back of the old speaker housing. no prob w/ a jig
I have no idea what year your car is.... but more likely than not the door panels will have to come off (unless you have a wall fish thingy....) and as far as your dash, to NOT do a ghetto wiring job you will need to take off the glove compartment and probably your drivers side lower dash (under the steering wheel). YOu can the run teh wires up a little higher, and hide the zip ties a little better. Good luck!
i'd definately wait til the weekend bro. these kind of things have a tendency to take longer than expected in my experience. especially if you are rewiring the rear speakers as well. Good luck.
