power rack to manual rack

HELP about rack and pinion!!!!!!!

i need to know what to do for a manual rack swap. i know about the u-joint and yolk. but i need to know if i will have to also do a sub frame swap too???

96 EK
mini-me gsr swap.
no power steering pump.

for 92-95 you dont. not sure about 96 and up.

i keep getting different answers from every one cause i think my rack is shot cause the steering wheel clicks and turns but the wheels don't move at a halt but when driving its fine. lol

id like to know this too. im not running power steering in my ek hatch. whats everything you have to do?
