Power steering and air condition modification for turbo???

I am just looking and found this authentic turbonetics turbo. The rest of the kit is Chinese.
The description says,

* This turbo kit CAN NOT keep the air conditioner and power steering without modification!

I called them and they said that their cast iron manifold does not require modification. But I only assume that a header will give more horse power.

Here is the the one with the header.

Here's the one with the manifold.

The devil is always in the details. You need to tell people the car, engine, etc. in which you plan to install the turbo. Otherwise, people must guess, causing you to get bad information.

The salesman that I talked to had a heavy accent. That's always a wall but I explained that I had a b16a Dohc vtec jdm. When I asked about the modification he directed me to their other kit with the cast iron manifold. Because he is just a salesman he probably doesn't know much about the modification himself.

If you look at the front of your motor it quuckly becomes evident what's wrong. With where the PS and AC sit, it's right where the IC piping needs to run. The modification they are talking about is re-routing everything to work around it.

Lots of turbo kits use a log manifold, the only way the other manifold is an upgrade is if its equal length runners.

So it has nothing to do with the header but the intercooler piping. Anyone know of any threads on this mod. I searched and cant find anything.

I think most people just run their turbos without ac and power steering. I for one could have both but choose not to. Try and find an edelbrock kit if you can.

The kit. It is discontinued so they more than likely won't have any in stock, but!!!! I would call just to be sure. I ordered mine last year and got the last d series kit they had. Although it may have been the last kit they had for any.

U dont need a pipe bender to make a manifold.
