There are different ways of draining it. One way is to use a syringe or turkey baster to take the fluid out of the reservoir. Another method is to clamp the bottom hose, disconnect it, and drain the fluid through that hose into a drain pan.

yea i have a book on my car that i got from the auto store and it says disconnect the fluid hosees at the pump, then remove the pump adjudting bolts, the remove the pump mounting bolts and remove the pump from the engine it doesnt say any thing about the removing the pulley my question is does the new pump come with a new pulley or do i have to take the pully from the old pump an put it on the new pump

It depends. I ordered a pump online used and it came with a new pump. We cant answer that question for you, you need to look at the pump yourself. You dont want to completely remove the adjusting bolt until you remove the mounting bolts, just loosen it.
