power window conversion

hey guys,

recently i've found someone on ebay selling a power door conversion. it says it comes with:

THIS INCLUDES BOTH DOOR WIRING HARNESS, BOTH POWER MIRRIORS, BOTH POWER MIRROR COVERS FOR THE INSIDE OF THE DOORS, ALL THE POWER WINDOW SWITCHES, AND POWER LOCK SWITCHES, BOTH POWER WINDOW MOTORS, AND ALL THE BOLTS AND SCREWS NEEDED TO CHECNGE EVERYTHING OVER

is this conversion pretty much plug and play or do i need to splice wires and such? i have a 94 civic si hatch

any help would be greatly appreciated.

sorry i can't help you on this one but im also interested in this information cause i would like to do the same for my 92 dx hatch.... would be nice it its just a plug and play

"plug and play" you mean just screw it in?? of course you gotta do some wiring, how else would you power up those suckers

or if your paint is no good, just get some ex doors from the junkyard

off course you have to do some wiring, but still nice power door kit how much is he asking??

I'm doing the same swap on my 92 hatch. You are going to have to do some wiring cause the harness you have doesn't contain the wires for the power windows or mirrors. The clean way is to steal the three wire harness' from an ex. If you do that then its plug and play. You'll need the main harness, the dash harness, and the rear harness. If you do wire it up your self don't forget the window relay. You have to bring power to the drivers door and then run wires over to the passenger door. I'm doing it the easy way I pilfered the doors complete with the AR tweeters and then got wiring harness of the EX. hope that helps if you need help w/ parts email me daveyumahonda@yahoo.com
