Power window motor makes grinding noise when locking?

I have a DX model converted to power windows and every time the doors lock it driver side motor or something grinds? trying to figure out what it is?

You are most likely hearing a loud and/or binding power lock actuator.

That could be it when they lock it sounds like a really loud fuel pump but its more of a scrapping or grinding noise.. what could be the problem?

When you hit the power lock button there is only 2 moving parts. The actuator and the rod that it moves. My guess is that you have (like I said above) a loud and/or binding actuator.
