okay so0 i did a half ass search and didnt come up with anything....

my passenger side window doesnt not work at all.....i checked the fuse and its good, both my doors power locks work, and my driver side window works to0.... i figured it was the motor, so0 i went to the junk yard and got another one (i needed a new regulator to0 so0 i got them both)....i put the new motor in and it didnt work either.....so0 i just hooked up the wires from the motor to my power drills battery to0 get it to0 go up lol........this is ghetto and i dont wanna use my drills battery everytime i need to roll the window....anyone know what could be wrong?

btw: the car had been sittimg for about 6months, finally got it running and the window worked, but only for half a day thats when it stopped getting power. dont know it that has anything to do with it.

i had the same problem except my motor was bad too put the new one in and still didnt work. found out it was the connections going from the door do the interior of the car, the wires wore down and grounded themselves out on the car inside the door boot. if you move those around while you hold your window button down and it works theres your problem if that still doesnt work check the connections going from under the dash to see if they have power with a volt meter if they dont its something else i rewired the wires from the door boot and taped them up super good mine work great now check that

Yeah it sounds like the wires that go from the Floor Harness to the Door Harness on the Passenger Side are grounding them selves, thus not working. You will need to trace the wires that come out of the Windows Regulator all the way to the Fuse Box - this will require you to remove some of your interior, but its the only way to find where the wires are stripped and grounding themselves.

^ Lucky, it would've sucked if you had to remove everything.

Keep us posted on what you find. The Wires should be either stripped and touching the chassis or cut and not making connection.

Problem is in the floor harness where it goes thru the door hinge. How do i diconnect the floor harness from the door harness, so I can replace the harness?

^ Easy, pull back the Plastic Cover that is there (ribbed and square end), then you will see a Plug, just press the button and pull back. It'll come off easily. There is a little play room, so you might have to wiggle it a bit. It's a lot easier if you remove the Fenders. After the Plug is disconnected you can pull off the Floor Harness back into the cabin or the Door Harness back into the Door and remove all connections and replace it.

Thanks for the harness removal info. I had the fender half way off this morning. I am going to locate a replacement harness and then I will remove that fender and replace the harness.
