ok so the other day i replaced the factory speakers in my two front doors w/ some nicer JL's. install was quick and simple, speakers work fine. but now the power windows on my front doors dont work :???: i took off the door panels again and mades sure everything was hooked up properly and checked the fuses. everything is ok . . . . . i dont get it. i can still control my rear windows from the drivers side door control.

anyone ever run into this problem? have any suggestions?

I know u say u check the plugs but in order for the power window to work both door plugs have to be plug in because it has to be close circuit. hope that helps so check both door panel cause I have the same problem before too

Dude I had the same stupid thing happen..................check the back of the plug on the driver side. and gently pull each wire and you might find the problem, I had a broken wire where the pins insert into the plug............if not, go over the wiring carefully.the problem has to be there.........

problem finally solved. had the time to go through both doors today. 3 wires were pulled out of connectors. i guess when whoever installed my alarm went to wire in the window roll up actuators, they didnt have wire connectors big enough for the wire they were using to splice into the factory wires. so they used small connectors and electrical tape to try and hold them together.

rewired . . . done with
