I have a '01 LX Sedan with a 5MT, looking for a good spot to run the power wire from the battery thru the firewall for my amplifier. The wire is 4gauge and the only opening I see is where the main harness comes thru behind the glovebox near the in-cabin filters. I thinking that might pick up noise. Anybody have any suggestions where the clutch, gas, and brake pedals are? Thanks.

when i installed my alarm system, i had to drill a hole in the firewall on the driver side to fit the wires through. i made it big enough to fit the power wire for my subs as well. i just ran the power wire along the side of my car under all the carpet and plastic and its fine, no problems
I ran it there too, no problems. thanks!i ran my wire in the same spot as the main wire harnes and i didnt pick up any noise.
