Whats your budget? If its kinda high, the GSR will get you more power. If its lower, its prob better to get the low stock compression of the LS motor.

well i will have a turbo gsr within the year, i have the engine in the garage and turbo in my room. i have also just bought a p28 ecu for it cuz the engine didnt come an ecu and i got the p28 cuz it's obd1 and i also just got an obd2 to obd1conversion harness. i also just purchased a turbo manifold. right now i have about 2500 wrapped up and i still need to buy a fuel pump, hondata, injectors, hasport mount kit with linkage and cable to hydro conversion kit, and a bunch more. i will end up having roughly 4000 to have the engine where i want it to be and not to mention the car that was $500, haha! oh well, personally, an ls will be fine if you are going to turbo, but if you have to have the vtec b18c all the way

im talking about set-ups, i know theres only one way to turbo a street car... and the only reason i say t3/t4 is because i have the option to buy a brand new one for $300...

Well what the f**k if I knew it i'd tell you obviously i dont have the f**king thing yet and dont know it, all i know is its cheap as hell so lay the f**k off, you got issues d00d and your stepping on toes... back the f**k off...

*edit*
still nobody has answered my question on which motor they think would be better for a turbo application.

b18b.
more torque with boost, cheaper, sick at 12psi with a big t3/t4

gsr if you got the money..

but a ls is my personal opinion.
nothing like having 250 hp and 240lbs of torque

the higher compression gsr engine will be better. yes lower compression is "safer" but with proper tuning a higher compression engine will put you into boost earlier, faster, and make more power.
