What would you say about dropping a prelude engine in my '99 EX. and how much do you think it would cost. My friend said that we can get the engine ( like 30K - 40K miles ) really cheap and we can just drop it in ourselves. It would be really cool to do, and i would love to do that, but i'm kind of sceptical. What do you guys say.

You'll need more than just the engine though. Tranny,ECU, motor mounts, axles and some custom fabrication as handlebarsfsr touched on.

werd, not an easy job. I know for 5th gens you have to drill out spot welds in order to remove the right-hand engine mount and you also have to cut a hole in the center tunnel for some other s**t.... I'm guessing it'd be sorta the same thing for 6th gens.
