i was in NYC last week and while i was gone I had a few things painted... then I came home and found a box with taillights on my porch, so I figured Id do a new mini-shoot with the new stuff... i think it looks amazing...

anyway here's the pics

there ya go. I had the sideskirts painted, the type-r lip painted, and the front bumper repainted.

what do you guys think? any input/feedback is greatly appreciated, as always.

looks good, good thing im getting a different lip so our cars wont look exactly the same, although the fitment on your lip looks pretty bad, you might wanna adjust it, otherwise it looks good

yeah i put a screw in the front from the top to hold it down, but i didnt put it all the way in yet cuz i got cut off last night, so I need to fix that still. it just needs to be screwed down tighter and it should fit just fine.

you need to lower it. Once you do that, car will look 10X better

i am lowered... tein s-tech springs dropped it 1.7 and 1.9 front/rear. its just not slammed like some people want to see because i used to have to cross some nasty speedbumps at school every day...

thanks for the comments everyone.

Looks pretty good, I hate the 99-00 Hype-R lip on the 96-98 body style tho. it just doesn't flow. Lip doesn't seem to be fitting right on your bumper either.

I dont think the biggest speed bump in the world would affect your car. Seriously lower it, it looks goofy how it sits right now. Just learn to go over bumps and stop going 50 over them

those must have to be 1ft high speed bumps to even do anything. Seriously lower it, it looks goofy how it sits right now. Just learn to go over bumps and charge going 50 over them
it sounds to me like you have no idea what you're talking about... you dont know the speedbumps, and you dont know my car, so... as it sits now, my exhaust midpipe resonator scrapes on the bumps and I have to go over them crooked to avoid damage to my exhaust. the speedbumps are maybe 4 inches tall in the middle...

and you are the first person to ever tell me that my car looks "goofy" so Im not too worried about it. its my car, and I say it looks just fine, so Im not going to slam it... enough said. if you dont like it, you dont have to continue checking my thread...

there are far more "looks good" comments to outweigh your "looks goofy" so its all good to me...

anyway, for the rest of the comments... the painting cost me 200 from a local guy for lip, skirts, and a repaint on my front bumper, but I did all the prep work, so he hooked me up with the spraying. it was a pretty good deal for a pretty nice paintjob.

I live in alabama I know all about messed up roads, but my accord is low and going lower once I can get some new tires.. turbo is right, there are ways to be low and avoid problems.. but it looks decent so far.. lower would be better though..

i didnt say slammed, i said lower it. It doesnt even look like you touched the suspension. If you actualy did buy springs for it, it didnt do s**t to the height. I think you are bothered by the fact that after you installed the springs, the car wasnt low as you wanted it to be. So to make yourself feel better you tell other people that you meant to buy springs that didnt do anything to the height because of these imaginary10ft tall speed bumps. If you want to pull off a decent look with any vehicle that has aftermarket wheels, you need to lower it. Or else it does indeed look goofy.

actually, no. I love the way it sits, and I wouldnt change a thing. they are tein s-tech springs, and im completely satisfied with every aspect of my suspension.

but you're right. you didnt say slammed, you did just say lower. my bad. I just cant stand when people tell me to lower my car, despite the fact that to most people who are into cars, its obviously not stock height... maybe you're just used to seeing egs... I wish I had a pic of a stock height 96-98 coupe on 16 wheels and you could REALLY see how big the wheel gap is then compare it to mine and see that its pretty obviously lowered...

I found one... this is a friend of mine's car before he lowered it... looks like a 4x4. i'll admit that my car doesnt look slammed, but it CERTAINLY doesnt look like this...

you sound like my pops ... he hated the fact that i lowered my accord and now that i have springs sitting here for my integra he keeps tellin me about all the things i do and how having a lowered car will cramp my style, and im like i drove the accord around lowered for years .

And before anyone asks why my car isnt lowered yet, is because i have the same vineyard job i had last year.

I think i could do the job fine with a lowered car, after raising my accord to stock height i realised that i woulda just had to drive slow if it was still dropped.

But i havent had my integra long enough to "KNOW" where the low points are on it yet, so i want to get more used to my car. It will be lowered by september, and it sure as hell isnt gonna be any tien stech bullshit.
