problem headunit/amp installation

Alright,

Right now, I have my 1st amp wired (its only 2 channel and only goes to the back speakers) to the battery and grounded, and I have the RCA cables in audio out 1 on the head unit hooked up to the amp too. However, when I fade to the rear on the headunit, Theres no sound and I have no idea why.

Any ideas?

you have the cables in audio out one which makes me believe that you have more than one set of rcas out. You have them plugged into the front out rcas.

Hello,

Thanks for the help, I got it working now :D

Ok, my next problem is. I have two 2 channel amps. My hu has 2 audio outs, so thats good. But it only has 1 amp system control wire. Will it work if I just crimp them all in 1 cap?

thats fine all the remote does is give signal that the radio is on so the amps will turn on too, i have 3 going to my remote for my video system, buy a distribution block for the power and ground wires though it will be ALOT easier.

Thanks for the reply,

Yep, I have all the power situated. My set up is actually a computer (powered by DC-DC converter) and a touchscreen, with 2 amps.

So yeah, I may need to get a better alternator later on.
