problems?

I am having a few problems with my engine and want to know what to try to find out what is causing these problems:

- hesitation and serious acceleration problems below 3000rpm.
- it drinks fuel.
- bad idle
- ticking sound

- intermitent humming sound comming from induction kit

The car is fine when cold, but back to being a slug when warm. I have checked the diagnostics and its giving a code 61 for the ABS - Low ignition voltage?? Could this have anything to do with my problems? I have also checked the PCV, thats ok.

I had a similar problem

my 98 civic hatch had the same problems and it turned out to be my MAP sensor, (a common problem, should have been a recall) i had mine replaced and the car was fine

i have a d15z6, i dont think you guys got that version in the states. it is mostly similar to the d16y7. It was quite fun to drive until this started happening! Does the diagnostic code have any link to this or is that gonna be something else? How much to fix the MAP sensor?
