I do have a quick question, what would be my best route to obtain around 250fwhp? with about a 3500 budget

that must suck. going from a 400+ hp supra to a civic dx/hx with no wheels (it's not even sitting on bricks), no back window, no front end, and a snowed in interior.

any pics of the supra?

there are a few opinons youll get but if you stretch that budget a bit, and by a bit i meant like stretch it to around 5k, swap a k24 frankenstein into it. then when you get more money, upgraded internals and boost and youll be quicker than your old supra =]

how did you keep traction? engine looks good but i dont see it hooking up very well..

best bet is a k series for the hatch. k24 block with a k20 head... many other options available... b series with a turbo... you're gonna miss the punch of that supra either way...

Hey thanks, when i would race i would put my wheel spacers on and put drag radials. but i got it to hook up pretty good on street tires. my rears were 275's so not that bad.

I was looking at putting a vetek head on my motor and just turbo it around 8psi? would that work out on a stock d16?

you wont get the numbers you are looking for. dont waste the time with vtec. vtec is pointless.. the only noticable power gain is with i-vtec. people think vtec is a power adder. its purpose is for economy and fuel mileage and less wear...

forget the vtec head and then you have more money for turbo. ive always loved d series turbo builds because it takes a bit more thought and imagination... go for it... check out fullrace for your turbo...
