Hey all, Just thought i would do a post to say what's up... I'm in the Oakville area in ON. I've got a '94 Canadian SI with a Z6. It's treated me very well considering there are like 340K on the beast Anywhore, I really like the body style of my 5th gen and don't wanna get rid of it. So i'm thinking about what to do with the engine...... I could just do the usual rods/pistons etc, or somehow find a newer Z6 or a Y8 to boost Any thoughts on where to find a decently priced engine? How much ya figgure it would cost?

Damn. I would take your Z6 motor as I am looking for a D16Z6 motor this summer but yours is really high. Anyways, I plan to head down to junkyards and find an engine. Plus my uncle knows these places so maybe he can get me some $$ off.

I plan to look for a complete Z6 motor for lets say 600 bucks. It should not be over 1000 I hear...

Yeah, i heard like $600 - $700 for a Z6 and i'm thinking around $500 for the install.... I think new mounts are a good idea too, i remember hearing they cost around $300 or something like that...... LONG TERM project here
