Pulley

I am trying to remove my power steering pulley and alt. I have bent 2 fat screw drivers by trying to lock it out and went forward and Reverse. I was pushing hard enough in the loosen postion to bend the pwr str luckly it didnt break. Any one try taking these off before whould be nice to hear how you did it.

Use a puller.

Call AutoZone and they said that it won't lock out the pulley. I can't get the nut off. That would be my only prob. Any suggestions?

Try drenching it in WD40 overnight?

Finally got em off, soaked em in WD40 and took a friends impact to em took a little while but got em off. Now I have a prob in the process we butchered the alt pulley and the hole on the new one is to small...so I am takin it to a machine shop to see if then can drill it out to size need bout an 1/8 of an inch, it sucks at least we got em off. HELL YEA!!!!
