Alright so I just got here, already loving the forums. I couldn't wait to start tearing into my car. So I figured I would drop over here and start a thread so you can watch the progress as I do.

When I bought it the thing was quite literally Crap, there's no other way to say it. So I started out today getting the old seats unbolted and all of the old carpet torn out because it was wet, stained, and mcdonalds'd

Always looking for comments, advice and ideas, so feel free to throw them at me, I won't get mad.

I'd start by just swapping out the valvecover gasket.

well it's raining today, so unless it lets up, i don't think i will be doing any work.
I wanted to get the trunk cleaned up and figure out the door lock actuator.

Looking good, great way to start especially when u don't want to/can't put a lot of cash in. I just changed my carpet 2 weeks ago, mine was as bad if not worse then yours haha

No, you're in the right section. You're showing your 5th generation civic. The "builds and project cars" are typically non-honda's. But it's a very broad section.
