Put lots of work in the Civic so far...

I got a 92 Civic DX for 600 bucks. It has about 145,000 miles on it, but needed a little bit of work. You could wiggle the front drivers side wheel, it had just about no life left on the brake pads, the back tires were completely bald, and it had no muffler...

So I get to work, I ordered 2 outer tie rod ends, hoping that it will fix the wiggle in the wheel. I start doing it, and realize that it is the inner tie rod end that is shot. So I order that. I go get it the next day, and I also get a new muffler and brake pads. I go home, install the inner tie rod end, and both outers. While I am doing that, I replace the pads (easiest car ever to do brake pads). I start doing the muffler, but i was gettin cold, and was sick of doing it. Well, I did the muffler today, and I got an alignment yesterday.

It now feels like a totally different car, now I just have to clean her up a little bit and I will be all set. I spent about 350 bucks on all the parts and the alignment. Oh yah, I took the tires off of my old Accord and put them on the Civic.

Thats my story, I'm bored so I wrote it all down lol. Ill take some pics, but she's not too pretty yet.

Sounds like a hella good deal! Good luck with any other plans you might have!

Yeah, civics are the easiest cars to change brake pads on!
