I am really cosidering doing a motor swap by the end of march and i'm really wondering what quarter mile time can I espect to get from a B18CI swap and a B16A2. The car i'm swapping it into is a 1996 honda civic dx. Any responce will be appreciated.

a friend of mine swapped a b18c1 into his 96 hatch, and with i/h/e ran a 14.5...he is a good driver though, and had decent tires

that's it, only mid 14's, i'm just might as well turbo my Altima and run low to mid 13's for the money I would use to buy the B18C1 motor.

B18C5 or H22A if you're tryin' to get into the 13's just by swappin' B16A2 mid to low 15's......B18C1 low 15's to mid 14's.......i haven't heard of anyone runnin' better times than that

Actually a turbo engine will beat out a NA engine anyday of the week, AND you can still make decent power even when the weather is hot as hell and altitude is 3000 ft or above.
