Question about Civic EG9 (SiR)

Hi, I'm new here. I'd just like to know about identifying EG9's (4-door with B16A2 engine). I heard a few 'opinions' from people, so I'd just like to clarify this.

1. Does an EG9 have a wiper for the rear screen (remember this is 4-door)?

2. Do all EG9's have LSD gearbox as standard?

3. ABS?

I have a few other questions, but these are the most important ones. Any help is appreciated.

i thought the SiR was eg6

EG6 = 3 door SiR
EG9 = 4 door SiR

i.e. same specs, different body.

yea they have Abs, and LSD i don't think they have a rear window whiper those r only on hatch backs

Oh, I haven't got pics because I haven't bought the car yet! I just came across an EG9 at a second hand car dealer. It's supposed to be a JDM model, but the 220km/h speedometer (as opposed to Jap's norm 180km/h), and lack of rear wiper gave me doubts. I'm currently driving a 3rd generation 1.5 Civic (not worth posting pics!).

I've got a EG6

Hi everybody,

I just discovered this site and immediately signed up ;-) Just like all of you, I adore my car the way you do yours. Mine's a EG6 (hatchback with the B16A2 engine, 160hp stock!)...In Europe -where I'm from- it's called a VTi, I believe it's called SiR in the States. My previous car was a Honda as well (of course!), namely a '91 hatch (1400cc 90hp). == Yes..It does HAVE a rear windshield wiper ==

== No..not as standard but yes as option [same with TCS]

wow 3.5 years later we have an answer, lol. i do want a rear wiper on mine, just this morning i had to use my squeegy to get the dew off the window.... rear wiper on the 4dr ftw

EG9 sedan - rear wiper [ comfirm have ],rear disc brake,ABS,SRS & sunroof [ depend on spec ],auto [ only ]
EG6 hatch - same with EG9 but in manual transmission
