Question about foglights?

I know something similar has already been covered but that is not what I am trying to do. I want my 99 OEM foglights to be on with my corners but I dont want to do it the way covered in this thread: http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=707193 because alot of people have had problems with sutff. I was wondering if there is any was else to do it? Someone told me that the fogs can be hooked to a constant 12v power source? I am not sure if that can be done with OEM fogs.

thats kind of the way i did it.. but instead of pulling out the pin wires i just cut them and re wire them.. i tried that method and i broke a tool and only got one wire out. i looked at the how to again and notice i can cut them and swap the wires. i just cut them.. strip the wires and use those crimp wire connects and i was done in 1-2 min. its wired up the same as the how to but less headache..

Which wires would I cut and splice?

Here are the problems:

just did this modification, and i put a 10amp fuse in the taillight spot. however, for some reason, my 7.5amp interior light fuse keeps on popping. has this happened to anyone else? i am gonna try to replace it with a 10amp and see if that will help..
This is a great write up and i did everything while i installed my fogs today, but i ran into a problem the frist time i armed & disarmed my alarm.

So after we installing my fog lights with this DIY mod we put everything back together and i tested everything out and it worked fine. Then i armed & disarmed my alarm for the first time with the fogs installed (and they were in the ON positon so it flashed also) and everything was cool. Then i did disarmed the car and noticed when i disarmed it this time the parking lights stoped flashing, as well as when it arms. Then i go in my car and turn all my lights on to see if the lights still work on the outside and they do, but then the instrument lights (cluster & Climate Control) didn't work anymore. i checked both of the fuses and they were fine as well as the 10 amp i added for the tail lights.

Now we don't know what could be wrong; has this happened to anyone else? because the instrument lights (cluster & climate control) still flash when i arm & disarm my alarm but the outside parking lights don't flash, but when i turn on my lights the cluster and climate control doesn't light up.
okay so my radio does work. now it's the parking lights that don't work when i arm and disarm my car, and instrument lights don't work (cluster & climate control) when i turn it on the first and sencond click but they flash when i arm and disarm. what could be wrong? everything was fine untill i used my alarm the 2nd time. i need your guys help please
I did this to my 99 hatch this week, my parking lights and cluster lights stoped working. I got my multi meter out and checked continuity on all the fuses. 1 fuse blown, Instrument cluster(5amp). I put a 10amp in as a replacement. Cluster works again and my alarm also flashs the parking lights again.
so this happened to you too huh. i found out my instrument light fuse blew too. i must have over looked it the first time, but my intruement light fuse is a 7.5amp. this write up said to change the tail light fuse to a 10amp but i guess it is different for some cars, and will change the tail light fuse back to 7.5 and change the instrument lights to a 10amp.
I'm having problems with this again. So I changed my instrument lights fuse to a 10 amp fuse and changed the tail light fuse back to stock (7.5amp) and everything was working fine untill today when my parking lights and instrument lights stoped flashing when I arm and disarm my alarm. What could possibly be wrong this time? What could possbily be wrong this time? I already checked all the fuses (tail lights & instrument lights) and they were fine, I even put new ones and changed the tail lights fuse back to a 10amp fuse just in case and tested it out but no luck. I have a Clifford RSX 3.5 pager alarm, could i have blown a light fuse for the alarm if there even is one? i'm just hoping that i didn't fry anything. I TIA to anyone that thinks or can help me with this. i'm just stumped and don't know what do.
That is why I am worried about doing this.

Yeah, they made the 99-00 foggies such a pain in the ass. For the 96-98, there's a harness that's wired in stock, and you just plug into it, and then for the switch, you just plug into the other end, and attach a relay, plug into the fusebox and the swich, and you're done. My dash teardown and wiring was 20 minutes TOPS.

So do you think I should just not do it?

sorry for the cheap illistration .. but where the i use the red mark is the wires u cut.. not exactly where u cut but try to even it out with the other side then ur basically swapping wires u just cut.. ur just putting the wires that come from the loom to the front wires and the other two wires just becomes a loops to the other side.. pretty simple. sorry if my explaination sounds confusing. my fuse blew but it was the cluster one.. then i just replace it with a 15 and it works fine now.

Which side of the wires do you use? The top part or the bottom part? I think it would be easier to just swap the wires.

I am a little confused. What corners are you talking about? The turnsignal? Or do you mean your parking-lights but they are in the main reflector, are they not? And you want your foglights to constantly light up, when you turn your parking lights on? Isn't that unnecessary? I mean, I only use the fogs when it is foggy and I need to light the road.

The turn signals and parking in the same spot, it has a dual fililment bulb.

I like how it looks.

Here is what it looks like except I want the corner lights to be on.

interesting ... my fogs only come on when at least the parking lights are on. But my parking lights are a separate bulb in the main reflector, the corner is turnsignal only.
