I bought a intake manifold like this and im wondering if I need a fuel pressure regulator universal or can I just get a 4AN fitting and a 3 hose fitting and run one hose to my pressure regulator on the fuel rail and call it a day.its 99 civic d16 by the way.or do a need another regulator so to much fuel isnt coming out.

uh, I'm a little confused. Are you thinking you need a different regulator because the stock one on the fuel rail wouldn't allow enough fuel pressure for your injectors? Or is there some type of fitment issue? I haven't paid too much attention to the fuel rail on my 99, but my 92 only connects a line from the regulator to the manifold for vacuum. the other line is the fuel return line from the regulator. For that manifold, looks like you might need a LONG vacuum line to run from the bung to the regulator.

Oh ok yea I was thinking of getting a bung or AN thingy and run the hose from there to my regulator like you said I just had to be sure.I wonder why they make manifolds with the regulator port for maybe for more fuel or power but I still dont get it.

I can't really tell from the pics, but IS there a port labeled for the regulator? In the pic, I think the port with the 2 screw holes is for the air temp sensor

okay, yeah. that closeup pic helped. that's the port for your air temp (pretty sure air temp) sensor. Do NOT hook up a fuel pressure regulator there, only need 1 on your car (the one on the fuel rail). below is a pic from my spare z6 intake. Should find a similar sensor on your current car (if a y7 engine, not sure exactly where it's located on your intake). Just swap over from your old intake to the new when you install it

yes its the iat or intake air temp sensor, some cars have them on the manifold and some have them in the intake pipe. if you have yours in the intake manifold already then swap it over to this aftermarket manifold, if not and its in the intake pipe then you can either block this hole off or get a sensor from a d16z6 and cut your old sensor off and wire this one in
