looks like its the same.

im watchin a vid of the amuse supra vs. mines skyline, and the supra driver while downshifting, looks like he was going into lower gears while moving his hand to the left (for a sharp turn) and it looked like it was in 2nd gear, exactly where ours is. so im thinkin in rhd cars its the same shift pattern as lhd cars

all you have to do is look at a JDM shiftknob that labels the gear pattern..and YES, everything is the same...

Yup, it all be the same.
I drove a de-commisioned Postal Services Plymouth Neon in one of my auto classes and it didn't take me any time to get used to RHD and it actually felt more comfortable than LHD.

yep.. pedals are in the same order too.
It just now hit me thaht the guy with the skyline probably would have let me at least run it through the gears just sitting there.

Ok first of all to answer the first question the gear pattern is exactly the same. IF you would have sat down and thought for a minute you would know that the JDM transmissions that we put in our USDM cars have the same gear pattern as US cars. There is no pattern reverser. Transmissions are universal. The only exectption is some Domestic cars in which the 1st gear is the lower left and cars that have a 6th gear. The pedals are the same too. The only thing that is different is the location of the steering wheel.

that only thing that would bother me about driving onthe right hand side is getting used to turning. seeing everything on my right side and judging to see things when i'm turning left. it would be fun to have a jdm driving style though.
