Question about speakers???

I used to have a subwoofer but the amp f**ked up and I dont feel like spending the money to get a new one. I also need to get my speakers replaced on my 99 Civic so I just just looking to get speakers that have some bass. Which ones would you reccomend? I was thinking about getting these: What do you think or :

Front:

It says it has rich natural sounds.

Rear:

It says they have powerful bass tones.

I dont really want to spend alot of money on speakers.

The only way you will be able to completely get the most sound out of those is if you run an amp to them because if you run them directly from your head unit your probably not going to be happy with the kind of bass your going to get out of them.

what kind of head unit are you pushing them with.

most middle of the pack aftermarkets are in the 20-25 w RMS range and you are not really going to push those all that well.

$25 for 2 dual 6 1/2' speakers...only put one on...but i got exactly what i paid for...speakers...u know the kind that puts out sound for our listening pleasure...
if u want sound to go deaf...then i wouldn't know..

if you're gettin them from circuitcity, i suggest you get the infinity 6.5 components up front and the alpine 6x9 in the rear...

ok....if u wanna spend the omney on another AMP to power ur mids and highs u might as wel spend the money for Apline Type R's.......they are going to be INSANE with the amp pushing them.

If u dont want to buy the amp and just want some good speakers in ur car that are going to give you both bass and the clearity.....than go with the Alpine Type S speakers.....i have them in my 97ex and im loving them!
