Question about VAFC II

Going turbo soon and I just got a vafc for a good price but would like to know is it a good idea to use for tuning. I was going to purchase a Zeitronix wideband w/display since it read boost, air/fuel,egt and this would elimante me getting gauges. But will the vafc be just as good if i do tune with it, I will get gauges for the vafc though. Hope I make sense . Thanks

you will need to find a very good tuner to tune it since you will have to tune the timming also. I think everyone you talk to will say uber/hondata is a much better management and I agree 100%.

vafc's suck, I say it in every post. Plus in no way at all will a vafc take the place of a wideband 02

the only reason i got the vafc is my vtec engagement was at 5600 and i wanted it at 5000 but I'm still planning on getting a wideband and using uberdata. Thanks for the input guys.

you dont hae to have a wideband to run uber, you can just take it to a dyno with wideband and tune it/get them to tune it there. Widebands are expensive as f**k, but if you want to spend the $ go ahead.

EDIT: If you already have the vafc you can still use it. Go to www.turbod16.com and talk to pollito. He is boosting 9psi with the hack and is doing awsome with it.

you can tune with any laptop, just get a crappy laptop, youll still be able to tune with it as long as you have a rom burner
