My D16Z6 engine has a JR supercharger kit with a 8 psi pulley which actually is 7 psi - I´m facing a power loss due to the piston are low compression ones (8.5:1). Should i go to high boost (10 psi pulley) with the supercharger Jackson racing one (no -intercooler) or going back to stock 9.2:1 compression ratio, will be better for getting more HP?
Your help is appreciate

The idea is to keep SC - what I was asking was to increase boost to 10 psi keeping low compression or go back to stock 9.2 keep 7 psi of boost.
Tks 4 ur answer!

I'd go back to the 9.2:1 CR. That's still a decently low CR for boost. I'm boosting my Y8 this winter and I'm getting forged internals but keeping the 9.5:1 CR

the block is like 150K but internals are new like 5K.
I searched for forged pistons and I found 9.0 and 10.5 CR. Is there a problem if I go with the 10.5 CR ones? 9.0 still pretty low don´t u think?
My concern is that I live in Colombia - South America and our gas quality is not that good. 92 octane gas will be ok for a 10.5 CR - supercharged @ 7 psi?
