oil question

okay guys, i have a question...and ill take all of your opinions...i drive a 99ex, when i change my oil, it drains 2 quarts out....no matter what angle i put it at...i have tried putting it on ramps..using a jack and no matter how i try it it still only drains 2.....then when i start to fill it up it holds 2 quarts and no more.....and when i check it i can see that it is mixing with the old oil...what could this be??? please help

ill check mine b4 i change it and its full but it only drains like 3 qrts and it takes more than that when i put new oil in. my doesnt mix tho. its so f**ked up

i used to work at a honda dealership. takes 3.7qts. never had any problems like that ever.

yeah, i know i called a dealership and they said that they hadnt hear of it either, i wish i could figure out whats goin on with it

You might need to take the oil pan off to help diagnose this problem.

i just replaced mine so maybe it will be better next time i change it

maybe your arteries are clogged, lay off the fast food...muhaha, seriously though...i'm not sure whats up...try taking it to the dealership?

take your oil pan off and check it? is it 2qt's only every time?

actually, have u tried to leave it unplugged and then jus let the oil out and as you do, keep putting new oil in and see if it flushes the old crap out?

it sounds like Panges has a good idea. I wouldnt take it to the dealership, you might as well flush your money down the toilet.
