so i was at the store the other day and was looking at cd players because i plan on finnaly swaping out my stock radio/tape deck for a cd player in the next few days. so i was looking at the install kits and the one that was supposedly for my car (97 EX) didnt look right it was for all civics 1990-2000 and just didnt look like it would fit in my dash so anyone have a place where i can get one that will work and also any pics of their installed cd players just to see how it looks would be nice thanks everyone

This was my radio in my '96 EX. You can get the harness from crutchfield or your local Best buy/Circuit City.

The piece for a 1997 civic is like a sliver of a kit, on that guys car, look the right of the cdplayer, its that quarter of an inch piece of place that has a din-size plastic trim around it. its literally a 15 cent piece of plastic.
but you will have to buy a kit that will have the whole-dash piece for the newer civics...
