Hi guys,

quick intro of my babe (Rudi jr).

What I changed. pretty much everything:

- facelift conversion (wanted the EM1 grille and ctr headlights)
- sidemarker replacement - amber to clear (OEM HRV)
- interior swap USDM climate control, seats, cluster, carpet, steering wheel and the like
- rebadged my baby to SiR (my first honda was a red si named rudi ... hence: SiRudi ... )

So, this is me:

So, this is my car (1996 Honda Civic EK3 named Rudolph Jr. called Rudi)

*

Rudis's Interior:

*pics still show the amber sidemarkers as it took a while to get the partnumbers for the clear sidemarkers.

Hey guys :-)

well, the edm cars never got the facelift climate control ... not even in the facelifts. The SiR badging came from canada as did the gauge cluster ... so there is a bunch of jdm (carpet, power folding mirror motor), cdm (cluster, badges), usdm (climate control, grill) and edm in that little car ;-) vin read: jhmek3 ;-)

I am thus not nationality-specific and non-biased ;-)

On a side note: you cannot edit your own posts?

Oh, I reckon the cupholder is usdm (EM1) the shiftknob was found on ebay of a USDM EP3 although the EP2 in Germany comes with them as well. the shiftboot would be another jdm goodie ... other than that, alot of the parts can be found in all markets ;-) the steering wheel is of a german ep3 and the seats out of a 3oth anniversary ep3 also from germany. the rear seat is a combination of ek/eg/ep seat. so I am also multi-generatiional ;-)

oh, the shift boot is definitely not a 2004 si shift boot :-) The knob might be one but as I said, the USDM EP3 has that as the sportseditions of the EP1 and EP2 in Europe. And yes, I like it very much, matches the EK9 shift boot and the EP3 steering wheel. would have matched better with the MOMO EP3 steering wheel but I dind't like the seams on those. Had one as well.

Oh, I don't consider that a stupid question. The EK3 comes with a D15 engine. In Germany, the EK3 has the D15Z6 enging with 115 hp. The EK4 sports the B16A2 with 160ps and well, the EK9 the B16B 185 ps but I presume that is not new to you.

Thank you.

I think my car looks pretty decent and is a fully functional hatchback. I am hoping a friend of mine will take some pictures shortly to really show off the car ... the pics were actually just made to show the drop and the cupholder ;-)
